This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Become part of Terra Localizations’ freelance talent network as a video game subtitler.

• Deliver subtitling services for a potential video game localization project scheduled for 2027.

• Utilize your audiovisual localization skills to enhance video game content.

• May also involve providing TEP, MTPE, LQA testing, or audio QA for subtitles (ASREC).

• Wait for evaluation and communication from Terra when a fitting opportunity arises.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native fluency in one of the specified target languages: Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, European Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Thai, Turkish, or Vietnamese.

• Strong command of the source language.

• Demonstrated experience in video game subtitling and audiovisual localization.

• Familiarity with tactical FPS games, gaming terminology, and culture.

• Comprehensive understanding of subtitling standards, including timing, characters per second (CPS), line breaks, and formatting.

• Experience with video game localization processes and professional subtitling software.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to producing high-quality linguistic results.

• Capacity to adhere to project guidelines and meet established deadlines.
