Translation Validator, Portuguese

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Examine English source materials alongside two machine-generated translations in Portuguese (Portugal)

• Assess both translations for accuracy, fluency, and overall quality

• Choose the preferred translation and provide a clear written rationale

• Review audio recordings and their corresponding transcriptions for accuracy, completeness, and quality

• Evaluate transcription and audio quality in accordance with project guidelines

• Independently complete assigned samples within set deadlines

• Strictly follow project and client specifications

• Conduct A/B preference testing to enhance AI-generated content

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Portuguese, both written and spoken

• Excellent written communication abilities in Portuguese

• Strong proficiency in English

• Preferred background in linguistics, translation, or language quality evaluation

• Capability to work autonomously with a keen attention to detail and consistency

• Familiarity with Romanized script conventions is an advantage
