This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Offer financial and operational guidance, advising the Vice President of Operations on strategies to enhance the financial performance of the service organization.

• Collaborate with organizational members on strategic initiatives, including the annual budget and monthly forecasts.

• Supervise executive-level strategic projects related to Operations and Service functions.

• Manage the development of transformative projects aimed at driving profitable growth across Custom Truck One Source.

• Provide thought leadership and insights to key stakeholders through the creation of comprehensive reports.

• Develop intricate financial and operational models.

• Engage with department leaders throughout the organization to deliver insightful, action-oriented analyses.

• Support Service and Operations functions by quantifying, developing, managing, and executing strategic business priorities.

• Act as a liaison between Service, Finance, Commercial teams, and segment leadership.

• Conduct research, analysis, reconciliation, and validation of data sets to inform business decisions.

• Design and implement financial models to aid key business decision-making.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.

• An MBA is preferred.

• 5-10 years of relevant professional experience is required.

• 1-3 years of experience in reviewing financial statements and/or performance metrics and communicating findings to senior management.

• Strong ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders at various organizational levels.

• A proven history of collaborating with diverse individuals to implement business changes.

• Advanced proficiency in data and financial reporting using Excel.

• A self-starter who can streamline functions and demonstrates a passion for learning and growth.

• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to work independently.

• Experience in working with and presenting to senior executives.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with comfort in interacting with executive-level management.

• High proficiency in Excel formulas, functions, and data organization.

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills are essential.

• Ability to manage personal time and the time of others to meet tight deadlines.

• Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays.
