This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Offer financial and operational advice while assisting the Vice President of Operations in suggesting improvements to enhance the overall financial performance of the service organization.
• Collaborate with team members on strategic initiatives, including the annual budget process, monthly forecasts, and other essential tasks.
• Supervise executive-level strategic projects for Operations and Service departments.
• Oversee the development of transformative projects aimed at driving profitable growth across Custom Truck One Source.
• Provide insights and thought leadership to key stakeholders through the creation of comprehensive reports.
• Create intricate financial and operational models.
• Engage with department leaders throughout the organization to deliver insightful, action-oriented analyses.
• Assist Service and Operations teams by quantifying, developing, managing, and executing strategic business priorities.
• Act as a crucial link between Service, Finance, Commercial teams, and segment leadership.
• Research, analyze, reconcile, and validate data sets and information to support informed business decision-making.
• Design and implement financial models that aid key business decisions.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• An MBA is preferred.
• 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in reviewing financial statements and/or performance metrics, along with communicating results to senior management.
• Strong ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Proven success in collaborating with diverse teams to implement business changes.
• High proficiency in data analysis and financial reporting using Excel.
• A self-starter with a passion for learning and growth, capable of streamlining functions.
• Comfortable handling ambiguity and capable of working independently.
• Experience in working with and presenting to senior executives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with executive-level management.
• Very proficient in Excel functions, formulas, and data organization.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
