This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Provide support in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll processing, accounting review, reconciliation, and reporting for the team and various clients.
• Complete rotational assignments in the Outsourced Accounting and Fractional Practice sectors, encompassing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Reconciliation, Compliance, and Financial Reporting.
• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to formulate plans and measurable objectives for each rotational assignment.
• Code invoices to the appropriate General Ledger accounts and manage client vendor invoices.
• Download and categorize credit card transactions, inputting data into accounting systems.
• Review and reconcile vendor invoices and Accounts Payable ledgers on a monthly basis; identify missing items and address discrepancies.
• Establish new vendors and manage W-9s for vendor documentation.
• Record customer payments and generate client invoices.
• Download and enter revenue data from third-party applications or banks, while monitoring outstanding receivables.
• Process weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payrolls for multiple clients, including deductions for benefits, taxes, and wage garnishments.
• Set up and maintain employee records and payroll files.
• Download payroll transactions from third-party vendors for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Prepare periodic and year-end reports for both state and federal agencies.
• Ensure timely and accurate year-end W-2 reporting to employees.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports for clients and Boards of Directors.
• Serve nonprofit and for-profit organizations, with a specific emphasis on the cannabis industry.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent training is required.
• Previous experience in payroll, payables, receivables, and reconciliation is preferred.
• Proficient technology skills using Microsoft Office 2010 or later, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with accounting systems; experience with QuickBooks (desktop and online) and Intacct is preferred.
• Must fulfill additional technology requirements communicated to selected candidates on an ongoing basis.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

• Quick to learn and adept at applying new technology skills and systems.

• Minimum internet speed of 50–100 Mbps is required.

• Backup for power and internet is required.
• Must learn and master tools including Bill.com, ADP RUN, and ADP WorkforceNOW.
