This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Act as a reliable advisor for client real estate transactions.
• Participate actively in client meetings and conference calls.
• Enhance client transaction management processes.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to address tenant-landlord issues.
• Oversee building tours and transaction reporting for clients.
• Comprehend client real estate needs.
• Independently manage and execute lease transactions.
• Select, engage, and supervise brokers for lease transactions.
• Negotiate advantageous economic and adaptable lease terms.
• Review lease documents and generate lease abstracts and summaries.
• Collect and assess market data and property information.
• Research landlords, companies, and potential subtenants.
• Negotiate letters of intent, leases, and other transaction documents.
• Prepare commission invoices and monitor transactions in proprietary systems.
• Assist the Global Portfolio Services Lead and Account Director with client deliverables.
• Develop and maintain financial reports and key performance metrics.
• Ensure the precision of portfolio data.
• Formulate occupancy cost-saving strategies.
• Assess alternative occupancy solutions and financial structures.
• Manage the surrender of premises or decommissioning projects when necessary.
• Support global client portfolios across North America and LATAM, with occasional EMEA and APAC assistance.
• Travel as required based on client and transaction demands.
• Over 9 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions or leasing.
• Familiarity with real estate and lease terminology.
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with transaction execution experience.
• Experience in corporate real estate with a solid understanding of client service needs.
• Strong analytical skills, both financial and qualitative.
• Expertise in complex commercial lease structures.
• Proficient in TME, CoStar, and other specialized real estate databases.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• An active real estate brokerage or salesperson's license is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
