This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Organize cybersecurity training events, webinars, and virtual instructor-led sessions.
• Oversee training schedules, deadlines, event prerequisites, and preparation for delivery.
• Prepare and disseminate course announcements, registration details, reminders, and logistical communications.
• Maintain training distribution lists and participant records.
• Manage student registration, attendance, waitlists, cancellations, and rosters.
• Create, set up, initiate, and oversee Webex training sessions.
• Begin and manage training recordings, ensuring they are stored correctly.
• Provide live event assistance and resolve common Webex and participant access issues.
• Collaborate with instructors, curriculum staff, and stakeholders to guarantee training readiness.
• Monitor required tasks and deliverables, following up on deadlines.
• Complete post-event reporting, including registration statistics, attendance, completion, and other necessary metrics.
• Keep training records and supporting documentation in SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and other authorized systems.
• Assist with ongoing program reporting and enhancements to training operations.
• Manage participant information and personally identifiable information (PII) appropriately within a federal training context.
• Support training events from the initial announcement through to delivery, reporting, and closure.
• A bachelor’s degree is required; preferred fields include Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Business, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
• Experience in project coordination, project management, training operations, event management, or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects or events.
• Experience in coordinating stakeholders, schedules, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar platforms; Webex experience is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot standard technology and virtual event issues.
• Keen attention to detail and strong follow-through capability.
• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating with a team.
• Professional demeanor when engaging with federal clients, instructors, and training participants.
• Preferred: experience supporting federal government programs or contracts.
• Preferred: experience in supporting technical, cybersecurity, or professional training initiatives.
• Preferred: knowledge of cybersecurity terminology and concepts.
• Preferred: experience with VILT, LMS platforms, registration systems, or training databases.
• Preferred: experience in compiling operational metrics, attendance data, or program reports.
