Training Manager – Platform Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee Aligned’s Platform Delivery training and development initiatives for data center development and execution.

• Create training materials that encompass the project development lifecycle, which includes design, preconstruction, startup, execution, commissioning, handover, and closeout.

• Provide training on project management methodologies, covering scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.

• Develop training focused on design and preconstruction coordination.

• Create training related to QA/QC and commissioning procedures.

• Develop training on commercial management, procurement, and contract administration.

• Produce training on project reporting tools and dashboards.

• Develop training focused on safety, quality, and execution standards.

• Create training on cross-functional workflows among Platform Delivery, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Customer teams.

• Assist in standardizing the Platform Delivery onboarding program.

• Educate team members on the project lifecycle, execution frameworks, roles, responsibilities, tools, systems, reporting expectations, collaboration processes, site orientation, and project-specific onboarding.

• Partner with Platform Delivery leadership to design programs that enhance proficiency, standardize project delivery, clarify cross-functional responsibilities, reinforce tools and reporting standards, expedite onboarding, and ensure safe, high-quality, predictable delivery.

• Review current training materials and job responsibilities at the beginning of the role to identify training requirements and gaps.

• Dedicate a considerable amount of time to writing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

• Capability to learn cross-disciplinary topics such as design and commissioning.

• Strong communication skills in writing, verbal communication, and presentations.

• Proficient writing abilities.

• Ability to develop training materials utilizing project documentation, playbooks, standards, templates, and actual project examples.

• Competence in designing and delivering training for individual or group onboarding, instructor-led sessions, workshops, and self-directed modules.

• Ability to present instructor-led training on complex technical subjects.

• Capacity to build trust through face-to-face interactions and interviews.

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Original thinking, creativity, resourcefulness, and innovative problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate with teams in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

• Ideally, a willingness to work at one of Aligned’s data center locations.

• Willingness to travel to locations within the United States up to 25%, including occasional weekends and evenings.
