Learning Experience Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Analyze customer requirements through insights, product workflows, feedback, and data.

• Identify problems and desired outcomes, suggesting suitable learning solutions.

• Develop task-oriented digital learning, practice sessions, and assessments by applying instructional design, adult learning, and user experience principles.

• Produce courses, simulations, videos, written materials, and content related to certification.

• Organize content with metadata, versioning, tagging, and reusable components for efficient localization and maintenance.

• Create learning delivery methods that extend beyond the LMS, including Bluebeam University, in-product experiences, community engagement, and other customer channels.

• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, authentication, security, infrastructure, content delivery, learner access, tracking, and reporting.

• Evaluate implemented learning experiences against objectives and acceptance criteria.

• Develop and implement responsible AI and MCP-connected workflows for content analysis, creation, and modification.

• Validate AI outputs and incorporate necessary review and approval processes.

• Independently manage projects, coordinate contributors and reviews, maintain documentation, and communicate progress effectively.

• Assess scope, capacity, and technical risks, proposing realistic solutions.

• Confirm product accuracy with subject matter experts and evaluate accessibility, functionality, and learner experience.

• Suggest content updates, consolidation, or retirement as product offerings and customer needs evolve.

• Establish success measures, review evidence, and recommend enhancements to learning and workflows.

• Share insights and best practices with cross-functional partners and the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Five or more years of relevant experience in learning experience design, instructional design, digital customer education, or a related discipline.

• Proven ability to independently deliver digital learning projects from needs analysis through to release.

• Experience in developing interactive learning and assessments in collaboration with subject matter experts and cross-functional partners.

• Familiarity with using AI in consistent content or learning workflows, including validation and human review processes.

• Practical experience with MCP-connected AI tools.

• Proficient in using Parta or a similar platform that supports modular authoring, reusable content, and structured publishing.

• Understanding of headless LMS concepts and API-driven content delivery.

• Ability to utilize feedback or data to enhance learning experiences.

• Capability to apply instructional design and adult learning principles to create clear, task-based customer education.

• Skill in designing meaningful practice and assessments that align with learning objectives.

• Proficient in structuring modular content with metadata, tagging, and reusable components, preparing materials for localization and multi-channel delivery.

• Competent in using Parta or comparable modular authoring platforms, digital learning development tools, and learning management systems.

• Ability to translate learning needs into technical requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Capable of using AI and MCP-connected tools in repeatable workflows, assessing outputs, and recognizing when human approval or technical assistance is needed.

• Proficient in applying accessibility and user experience principles, with the ability to troubleshoot common content and publishing challenges.

• Skilled at interpreting learning data and feedback, transforming findings into actionable improvements.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and dependencies with minimal oversight while clearly communicating decisions, trade-offs, and risks.

• Skilled in building productive partnerships, seeking diverse perspectives, and providing and receiving constructive feedback.

• Equivalent experience with other platforms is acceptable, provided the ability to transfer those skills to the approved toolset.
