Training Lead

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Create comprehensive training plans, materials, PowerPoint presentations, recordings, and various audiovisual resources to facilitate the adoption of new processes, software, and automations resulting from FY25 and FY26 modernization initiatives.

β€’ Provide instructor-led training sessions in classrooms, conferences, and seminars, along with web-based training for the VA workforce.

β€’ Assess learning needs and determine necessary communication and skill requirements.

β€’ Convert identified learning needs into effective training modules and remedial resources to address performance deficiencies.

β€’ Conduct evaluations of training and measure the transfer of learning to promote workforce acceptance of new systems within six months of deployment.

β€’ Ensure training delivery is aligned with projects outlined in the VFMP Modernization Integrated Master Schedule.

β€’ Collaborate with Knowledge Management to ensure that training content adheres to current SOPs and employee desk procedures.

β€’ Maintain tracking systems to document the completion of scheduled training sessions.

β€’ Assist in after-action reviews to evaluate effectiveness and enhance training continuously.

β€’ Execute training-related administrative duties, including the upkeep of training databases and the organization of training events.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Over 3 years of experience in planning, developing, and delivering training through both instructor-led and online formats.

β€’ Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

β€’ Proven experience in creating training materials such as presentations, recordings, workbooks, and job aids for new systems, software, or process implementations.

β€’ Experienced in executing training evaluations and assessing learning outcomes.

β€’ Familiarity with supporting intricate projects and transformation initiatives within the federal government.

β€’ Capability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.

β€’ Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

β€’ Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

β€’ Proficient in managing competing deadlines.

β€’ Ability to foster complex client relationships.

β€’ Strong analytical and time-management skills.

β€’ Competence in organizing, prioritizing, and collaborating effectively with others.

β€’ Skilled in articulating thoughts, ideas, and solutions coherently, both in writing and verbally.

β€’ Capacity to remain composed under pressure and in a dynamic environment.

β€’ Willingness to accept feedback from clients and implement adjustments promptly and effectively.

β€’ Quick to familiarize oneself with complex issues.

β€’ Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
