This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Drive the Neurovascular business goals by partnering with Medical Education leadership, Marketing, Sales, and cross-functional teams to evaluate educational and training requirements and implement strategic initiatives.

• Create, implement, and oversee training programs related to devices, therapies, and procedures while ensuring adherence to Medtronic's quality, regulatory, and business conduct standards.

• Offer clinical and procedural assistance for neurovascular cases, which includes educating physicians and providing technical direction concerning imaging, anatomy, procedural workflows, and therapy adoption.

• Organize, develop, and manage education programs for healthcare professionals including physicians, fellows, nurses, and technicians, covering national courses, faculty-led events, and district meetings.

• Recruit, engage, and collaborate with physician faculty to improve educational and training prospects for residents and fellows.

• Generate educational materials, training resources, and learning aids by determining instructional strategies and coordinating the development of training tools.

• Collaborate with Sales Management, Marketing, Marketing Communications, Clinical, Regulatory, and Legal teams to create compliant educational programs for healthcare professionals that align with Operating Unit strategies.

• Maintain and enhance knowledge of neurovascular disease states, therapies, and devices while assessing program effectiveness through consistent engagement with customers and stakeholders.

• Support activities in Irvine, California, and travel over 60%/75% for physician education programs, healthcare professional training, district meetings, national training events, customer interactions, and clinical case support activities.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 14+ years of relevant experience in neurovascular, catheterization laboratory, interventional clinical support, medical education, or a related procedural specialty; OR Associate's Degree with 12+ years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.

• Direct experience supporting catheterization laboratory, neurovascular, or interventional procedures with proven expertise in imaging, anatomy, procedural workflows, and physician training.

• Proven experience in developing, delivering, or facilitating educational programs for healthcare professionals, clinical training, or physician development initiatives.

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with commercial, clinical, marketing, and healthcare professional stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel over 75% to assist with customer education programs, physician training courses, district meetings, and clinical case support activities.

• Experience with Medtronic Neurovascular products and therapies or a competing neurovascular portfolio.

• Background as a Field Clinical Specialist, Technical Consultant, Clinical Education Specialist, or similar procedural support position.

• Proven track record in developing healthcare professional education strategies, physician faculty programs, fellow training initiatives, or national educational courses.

• Strong knowledge of neurovascular disease states, therapies, product launches, and methods of clinical adoption.

• Relevant certifications in cardiovascular, radiologic, interventional, or catheterization laboratory fields.

• For Baccalaureate degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree that meets the criteria of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.
