This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Leverage instructional design and consulting expertise to create training solutions that benefit the business, franchises, and employees.
• Develop e-Learning initiatives from conception through storyboarding and production.
• Create and produce instructor-led training programs, including facilitator guides and materials for participants.
• Partner with field learning teams for effective implementation.
• Oversee projects and collaborate with project leaders, internal clients, subject matter experts, and external vendors.
• Function independently and as part of a team, exercising discretion, critical thinking, and sound judgment.
• Collaborate on the communication and marketing strategies for course launches and updates.
• Work alongside cross-functional partners on plans for training deliverables.
• Manage deliverables and project team members throughout the delivery process.
• Travel by car and plane as necessary for offsite meetings and training events.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 5 years of proven instructional design experience creating structured learning solutions across various formats.
• Capability to perform needs analysis to tailor training for specific audiences in line with business objectives.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities, balancing creativity with business requirements.
• Knowledge of conducting evaluations at all levels to measure training effectiveness, impact, and ROI.
• Project management expertise, including overseeing multiple workstreams, cross-functional collaboration, vendor management, milestones, budget, and timelines.
• Experience with visual design principles, directing video production, and managing external contractors/vendors.
• A portfolio showcasing recent work is required during the interview process.
• Comfort with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to operate within corporate senior leadership and restaurant employee environments.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to various and evolving systems and technologies.
• Self-motivated with a passion for driving change and enhancing business and franchisee performance.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems.
• Knowledge of authoring tools such as Storyline.
• Experience in the QSR, retail, or general operations sectors is advantageous.
• Background in restaurant or retail management with training responsibilities is a plus.
• Car and air travel as required for attending offsite meetings and training engagements.
• 10-20% travel involved.
