Training and Education Manager, Robotics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Conduct technical, clinical, and skills training aimed at sales, system implementation, and customer support for Robotics.

• Create and implement training programs for new hires and Robotics business initiatives.

• Collaborate with local field management to facilitate ongoing development of the sales team.

• Assess training requirements and identify skill or knowledge gaps with regional stakeholders.

• Design and produce training courses in collaboration with Global and Regional departments.

• Apply 80% standardization and 20% customization as necessary.

• Deliver clinical and technical content using a mix of blended, synchronous, and asynchronous learning methods.

• Assess training effectiveness through evaluations, surveys, and participant feedback.

• Establish mechanisms to evaluate learning outcomes.

• Promote collaboration across departments for training and continuous improvement.

• Provide extensive hands-on training at the IRCAD training center in Strasbourg, France.

• Report to the Western European Surgical Sales Training team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• A successful 5 years of combined experience in two or more of the following: medical device sales or marketing, clinical experience (nursing, etc.), training delivery, or other relevant fields.

• Strong commercial insight.

• Exceptional communication abilities.

• Genuine passion for training and development.

• Dedication to teamwork.

• Comprehensive understanding of an effective field sales and support organization structure, processes, and culture.

• Knowledge of Operating Room dynamics, preferably with experience in Robotics.

• Excellent influencing, interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

• Proven leadership and coaching skills.

• Experience working within multicultural organizations, particularly with diverse learning and thinking styles.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate and collaborate within a global matrix organization.

• Proven track record of both individual and team accomplishments.

• Experience in project management or project leadership.

• Strong planning and organizational skills.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.

• Excellent spoken and written English is required.

• Proficiency in a European language is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the region and occasionally internationally.
