Trainer – Cybersecurity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Train and assist students during their daily sessions by integrating theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on learning experiences.

• Provide engaging training in areas such as networking, Linux, security fundamentals, IAM, endpoint security, SOC/SIEM, incident response, cloud security, and ethical hacking.

• Develop and maintain instructional materials, practical exercises, and realistic cybersecurity scenarios.

• Support learners through hands-on labs and assist them during the Integrated Cyber Defence Capstone.

• Collaborate with fellow trainers and internal teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience.

• Regularly update training content to align with current cybersecurity technologies, emerging threats, and industry best practices.

• Contribute to the development of the course curriculum and prepare materials prior to the course commencement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Strong practical expertise in cybersecurity.

• Solid understanding of IT, Linux, networking, operating systems, and security fundamentals.

• Familiarity with SOC operations, SIEM, threat intelligence, incident response, vulnerability management, cloud security, and ethical hacking.

• Prior experience in teaching, training, mentoring, or instructional roles is highly preferred.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to clearly explain complex technical concepts to beginners.

• Professional working proficiency in English.

• A strong passion for cybersecurity, a commitment to continuous learning, and a desire to help others enhance their technical skills.

• Must include a freelancer training hourly rate in the cover letter.
