Trainer – Building Life Cycle Assessment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide subject-specific instruction remotely from a home office utilizing WBS LearnSpace 3D®.

• Utilize diverse teaching techniques to design and deliver engaging lessons.

• Prepare and create teaching resources in line with the curriculum requirements.

• Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for both residential and non-residential buildings.

• Integrate case studies from projects, training experiences, or project reports focused on sustainable and energy-efficient construction.

• Assist participants in developing their skills as a subject-matter expert and learning facilitator.

• Aid individuals in enhancing their professional skills and transitioning into the labor market.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in architecture, civil engineering, or building services engineering.

• Several years of professional experience in assessing buildings under the Quality Seal for Sustainable Buildings (QNG) and as part of the Climate-Friendly New Construction program.

• Experience in preparing and evaluating Life Cycle Assessments using Hottgenroth, ECO-CAD, and ETU-Planer.

• Additional qualification in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for buildings.

• Recognized as an expert in energy efficiency.

• Excellent command of the language of instruction, German (C2 level).

• Entrepreneurial mindset and approach.

• Initial experience in internal training, professional development, or presenting case studies.

• Strong methodological and teaching skills for effectively communicating course content.

• Independent and structured work style with a high level of personal accountability.
