In-Field Mentor Trainer – Temporary, Part-Time, 20 Hours/Week

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Report to a management level in Training Development

• Train and continuously evaluate and develop teachers and missionaries

• Provide personalized coaching and ongoing in-service training for mentors through weekly meetings

• Supply mentors with essential materials and policy information

• Observe and assess the performance of missionaries and mentors

• Facilitate opportunities for the enhancement of mentors

• Assist the Area Manager in onboarding new mentors

• Ensure mentors comprehend and effectively teach the approved In-field Preach My Gospel curriculum

• Lead the development of updates or new training curriculum for In-field Preach My Gospel

• Step in as a mentor when necessary

• Advocate for the well-being of missionaries and ensure their individual needs are met

• Guide mentors in fostering an optimal learning environment

• Manage daily supervisory tasks and consult with the Area Manager on disciplinary matters

• Provide timely recommendations for merit increases for mentors

• Collaborate with other mentor trainers

• Report on mentor performance to the Area Manager

• Assist in the interviewing and evaluation of candidates’ teaching and language abilities, contributing to hiring decisions

• Support area training meetings and organizing training resources

• Make recommendations regarding teacher dismissals

• Aid in assessing the language proficiency of missionary and mentor applicants

• Take on mentoring responsibilities as needed

• Perform other temporary assigned duties

⛳️ Requirements

• Six months of experience as an In-field Mentor

• Must be a returned missionary

• Familiarity with In-field Preach My Gospel training learning strategies and methodologies

• Strong understanding of In-field Preach My Gospel training principles

• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills

• Exceptional training abilities

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to manage pressure effectively

• Proficient technology skills for functioning in a remote environment

• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership capabilities

• Solid understanding of Preach My Gospel

• Positive attitude, proactive nature, and self-motivation

• Experience serving as a missionary

• Capability to meet physical requirements, including sitting for extended periods and using monitors/equipment

• Preferred: One year of experience in teaching, training, or tutoring in any capacity
