This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create and implement training programs aimed at improving employee performance in the workplace.
• Conduct training needs assessments by analyzing strengths and weaknesses.
• Convert requirements into training initiatives that support employees’ career development.
• Develop or supervise classroom materials, instructional documents, aids, and manuals.
• Guide structured learning experiences and evaluate quality outcomes.
• Facilitate training sessions and measure the effectiveness of the training provided.
• Ensure that the skills and techniques taught are integrated into employee work practices.
• Regularly assess ongoing programs and make necessary adjustments.
• Keep updated with the latest trends and tools in employee development.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Training or a related field.
• High school diploma is required.
• Entry-level to intermediate understanding of the residential mortgage sector in Correspondent or Retail Lending.
• Familiarity with sales, operations, capital markets, and/or residential mortgage products and services.
• Entry-level to intermediate awareness of applicable regulatory and legal compliance requirements, rules and regulations, and industry standards and practices.
• Intermediate experience in the mortgage industry.
• Intermediate proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
