Trading Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute, oversee, and track trades during market hours across various custodians and platforms.

• Trade and adjust portfolios involving equities, fixed income, ETFs, mutual funds, options, and UITs in accordance with advisor models and directives.

• Utilize third-party trading systems for calculating rebalances, allocating assets, and executing trades.

• Analyze trading reports to pinpoint accounts that require attention and ensure portfolios remain aligned with designated models.

• Investigate and resolve trade-related issues in coordination with custodians and internal teams.

• Assist with the onboarding process for new advisors, accounts, and portfolio models.

• Aid in cash management, distributions, and tax-loss harvesting efforts.

• Play a role in developing and enhancing trading procedures and documentation.

• Support the daily trading operations for advisory and brokerage accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Relevant background in trading, operations, or investment support; three (3) or more years of experience preferred.

• Possession of a Series 7 license.

• Series 65 license, or the willingness to obtain it within six months of employment.

• Strong understanding of investment products and operational processes.

• High degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to perform efficiently under pressure during market hours.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Familiarity with the Orion Eclipse trading platform is preferred.

• Experience with custodians such as Fidelity, Schwab, and NFS is preferred.

• Knowledge of advisory account structures, 401(k) and 529 rebalancing, and annuity platforms is preferred.
