Trading Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist investors with their trading, investment, and account-related inquiries.

• Guide clients through various market activities.

• Execute complex securities transactions.

• Offer educational resources to empower clients in making informed financial choices.

• Provide tailored support during inbound client communications.

• Recognize opportunities to connect clients with additional products and solutions.

• Deliver trading support, education, and mentorship within Fidelity's Client Services division.

⛳️ Requirements

• Applicants must reside within a 90-mile radius of the designated branch locations: Los Gatos, Mountain View, Palo Alto, San Jose-Campbell, San Jose North, and Sunnyvale at the time of application.

• This position does not offer immigration sponsorship through Fidelity.

• A Series 7 license is mandatory.

• A Series 63 license is required or the ability to obtain one within 90 days.

• Prior experience in financial services, brokerage operations, trading support, client services, or a related area is essential.

• Familiarity with financial markets, investment products, economic trends, and industry changes is required.

• Understanding of securities transactions, including equities, options, mutual funds, fixed income securities, and precious metals is necessary.

• Ability to implement regulatory and policy requirements while providing precise and compliant support to clients.

• Capability to assist clients with trading and investment decisions with integrity and assurance.

• A consultative approach to identifying client needs and recommending suitable offerings, support, and solutions is essential.

• Exceptional communication and active listening skills, particularly in articulating complex investment and trading concepts clearly.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Proficient problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and perform effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

• Must meet relevant regulatory and self-regulatory organization requirements, which may include potential restrictions related to certain criminal histories.
