Trading Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Keep abreast of developments in financial markets.

• Collaborate with team members to oversee and manage trading positions.

• Execute trades in line with the trading and hedging strategy established by the Head of Trading.

• Offer general assistance for the trading portfolio.

• Adhere to a designated roster shift: Asia 6 am–2 pm, Euro 2 pm–10 pm, or US 10 pm–5 am.

• Potential for increased responsibilities and career advancement.

• Educational background and experience in economics or finance.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Well-developed logical reasoning and critical thinking skills.

• Patience and dedication to learning and career development.

• Familiarity with trading, hedging, and financial markets.

• Excellent proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in trading positions within financial services or related sectors.

• Understanding of, or eagerness to learn about, blockchain technology, financial exchanges, and precious metals.

• Capacity to adapt to varying work hours.
