This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.
β’ Assist with AT&T technology and structural projects, which encompass new constructions, site modifications, and rooftop installations.
β’ Operate at heights ranging from 90β to over 500β.
β’ Ensure weatherproofing, grounding, and rigging techniques are properly maintained.
β’ Install, repair, modify, optimize, and conduct acceptance tests for wireless infrastructure and electrical systems.
β’ Install all varieties of connectors.
β’ Provide training to fellow Tower Technicians.
β’ Occasionally take on the role of Interim Foreman.
β’ Carry out maintenance and upgrades on equipment not in use during off-seasons.
β’ Execute performance checks and regular maintenance routines.
β’ Collaborate with a crew and respond swiftly to service calls.
β’ Act as Team Lead, setting the pace for the crew.
β’ Specific responsibilities may change based on business and client requirements.
β’ Proven experience as a Top Hand with skills in construction and project management.
β’ Familiarity with color coding, fiber, and sweeping techniques.
β’ Knowledge in ACAS, NSFD, and site access protocols.
β’ Demonstrated skills in construction (civil and RF).
β’ Comprehensive understanding of scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, and deliverable management.
β’ Experience with AT&T Network projects, T-Mobile CX, Verizon CX, and Dish Network CX.
β’ Background in troubleshooting, maintenance, and new site constructions.
β’ Climbing Safety & Rescue Certification (support may be provided for renewals).
β’ Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings (CDs) and plumbing diagrams (RFDS).
β’ Solid knowledge of basic hardware, software, and air interface issues using various testing equipment.
β’ Capable of managing all aspects of tower operations with minimal oversight.
β’ Working knowledge of cell site service monitors, RF test equipment, fiber, and PIM devices.
β’ Ability to adhere to OSHA standards.
β’ Compliance with FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.
β’ Possession of a valid driverβs license with a satisfactory driving record if operating a company vehicle.
β’ Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
β’ Willingness to travel for extended periods, with per diem based on the project.
β’ Proficient in inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and alarms both visually and audibly.
β’ Capacity to climb structures or operate lifts for extended durations.
β’ Ability to lift heavy objects and reach above head height.
