Tour Leader Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and oversee Tour Leaders for designated products.

• Create and sustain a high-performing team that reflects the company’s culture, values, and team spirit.

• Design and execute personalized training plans for newly appointed Tour Leaders.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and developmental discussions.

• Lead onsite meetings, training sessions, and operational workshops for Tour Leaders.

• Facilitate experiential learning opportunities and road-trip simulations.

• Ensure Tour Leaders are equipped with the necessary tools, knowledge, and support to thrive.

• Provide emergency assistance to Tour Leaders and facilitate prompt issue resolution.

• Travel frequently throughout the region to monitor operations and support team development.

• Engage directly with travelers to collect insights and ensure exceptional service.

• Analyze passenger feedback, quality reports, and operational performance metrics.

• Formulate coaching and enhancement plans based on traveler feedback and performance trends.

• Handle administrative duties both in the office and while traveling.

• Prepare and present weekly reports to the Regional Leader and Boston Headquarters.

• Propel the accomplishment of Regional Excellence goals within the assigned region.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in the travel industry.

• Background in managing and developing personnel.

• Proficiency in both English and Portuguese.

• Residing in Portugal.

• Willingness to travel frequently, including on short notice.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (filters, formulas, and conditional formatting).

• Flexible, creative, self-driven, and highly organized.

• Demonstrated ability to inspire and develop teams while fostering relationships rooted in trust, accountability, and mutual respect.

• Strong dedication to excellence and quality.

• Capability to work independently and effectively in a remote work setting.

• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong work ethic and effective time management skills.
