Platform Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the engineering team focused on Platform and Voice Connect within the Care Connect Suite.

• Collaborate with Product Management and the Platform Architect to establish priorities, architecture, and delivery strategies.

• Provide technical guidance for the Kubernetes-based Platform architecture, deployment strategies, and Voice Connect IVR design.

• Own critical architectural components and direct engineering execution across both platform and voice workstreams.

• Oversee Scrum/SAFe planning, backlog management, coordination of dependencies, and tracking of delivery risks.

• Ensure that releases adhere to quality, security, compliance, documentation, testing, and deployment standards.

• Lead the resolution of production issues and support lifecycle activities from design through to modernization.

• Manage and mentor distributed engineering and QA teams, fostering accountability and technical excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 5 years of experience managing software engineering teams, including those in distributed or global locations.

• More than 8 years of experience in software development or development-testing, with direct involvement in platform/infrastructure engineering.

• Proven experience collaborating with architects and product management to define technical roadmaps and establish delivery priorities.

• Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architectures and API gateways.

• Knowledge of secure development practices and standards-based Identity and Access Management.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is required.

• Ability to work cross-functionally to align deliverables and resolve conflicts among multiple teams.

• Capacity to identify, take ownership of, and resolve problems independently or collaboratively.

• Experience in mentoring and coaching engineering teams.

• Exceptional communication, documentation, and reporting abilities.

• Experience in creating, executing, and reviewing user stories, development timelines, and test automation.
