Tour Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Schedule presentations at elementary schools and various youth programs for the Ellie the Elephant and Carly the Cow tours.

• Conduct research, initiate contact, communicate with, arrange, follow up with, organize, and maintain the contact details for school and youth program administrators.

• Assist in compiling inventory reports and monitor the performance of TeachKind tours.

• Aid in the creation of print materials for the TeachKind tours, collaborating with the PETA Foundation’s Production Department.

• Support tour logistics and supplies, including inventory management, shipping, and ordering large quantities of vegan products.

• Travel as necessary to support the TeachKind tours.

• Help facilitate training sessions for new tour staff members.

• Conduct research and gather information to enhance the success of the TeachKind tours.

• Carry out other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

• Extensive experience in advocating for animal rights through outreach and educational initiatives.

• Proficient in public speaking.

• Outstanding organizational and writing abilities, along with a keen attention to detail.

• Knowledgeable about animal rights issues and PETA campaigns.

• Capability to professionally represent PETA's positions on various issues.

• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software applications.

• Must be at least 21 years old.

• Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license.

• Minimum of three years of driving experience.

• Clean driving record.

• Willingness and capability to travel for extended periods.

• Proven ability to conduct thorough Internet research.

• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.
