This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Perform market analyses and benchmarking utilizing compensation data such as Culpepper and Radford.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and equity of compensation programs.
• Create and manage grade structures; oversee job evaluations and maintain tools related to compensation and job pricing data.
• Collaborate with management on compensation data inquiries, including internal equity, retention, market, and bonus recommendations.
• Formulate pay policies and programs.
• Design, execute, communicate, and evaluate incentive pay, bonus, and commission plans.
• Assess compensation practices for compliance, including FLSA regulations.
• Take part in headcount budget planning and manage salary budget planning, encompassing promotions, merit increases, and equity adjustments.
• Create, implement, and oversee health, wellness, retirement, and ancillary benefit programs.
• Investigate plans and providers to optimize costs and align with organizational goals.
• Oversee the design, selection, renewal, communication, and policy development of benefits plans.
• Lead the annual open enrollment process, manage communications, and vendor relationships.
• Handle regulated benefits processes including 5500 processing, nondiscrimination testing, 401(k), HSA, FSA, workers' compensation, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ACA, required notices, and FLSA audits.
• Reconcile benefits data, employee and payroll records, provider premiums, and billing information.
• Drive initiatives for employee benefits education and maintain precise program data.
• Own and advance the comprehensive Total Rewards philosophy across compensation, benefits, recognition, and wellness.
• Design and implement employee recognition programs.
• Develop and manage initiatives focused on physical, mental, and financial wellness, including lifestyle accounts, EAP utilization, and partnerships with wellness vendors.
• Measure participation, engagement, retention, and ROI for recognition and wellness programs; refine programs based on insights.
• Benchmark recognition and wellness offerings against industry standards and competitors.
• Collaborate with business leaders, the Culture Team, and internal communications to promote program usage.
• Create scalable frameworks and toolkits for manager recognition and rewards.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate the overall Total Rewards Strategy and present best-practice options.
• Present strategies and outcomes to HR leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Oversee the new hire and rewards SWAG program.
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Over 7 years of experience in managing benefits and compensation programs.
• Capability to develop and implement compensation and benefits strategies that enhance the employee experience.
• Proven experience in designing or managing employee recognition and/or wellness programs, with a history of measuring their effectiveness.
• Strong analytical abilities with a proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) are preferred.
• Experience with recognition platforms or wellness program vendors is preferred.
• Familiarity with sales/commission plans is preferred.
