Total Rewards Leader, Biotechnology

📋 Description

• Oversee the total rewards strategy, design, governance, and implementation across the Biotechnology Group.

• Establish global governance for compensation, benefits, recognition, and rewards across operating companies.

• Provide guidance to Group, operating company, HR, and business leaders on compensation and benefits policies and programs.

• Manage the annual compensation planning process and coordinate incentive, equity, and centrally managed compensation activities.

• Represent the priorities of the Biotechnology Group with Danaher Corporate Total Rewards.

• Facilitate communication, training, and change management initiatives for rewards programs.

• Create metrics and scorecards to assess and communicate the success of total rewards programs.

• Promote process excellence through the use of Danaher Business System tools.

• Offer rewards expertise during mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, integration planning, and post-close execution.

• Mentor and develop rewards teams within operating companies.

• Report directly to the Group Vice President of Human Resources for the Biotechnology Group and engage with both Biotechnology Group HR and Danaher Total Rewards leadership teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience in global compensation and benefits.

• Proven track record in leading a global compensation, benefits, or total rewards function within a complex corporate or matrixed environment.

• Knowledge and experience with health and welfare, retirement benefits, and global mobility.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to operationalize strategies effectively.

• In-depth understanding of salary structure design, base pay administration, job evaluation, market benchmarking, variable pay, sales compensation, and equity or long-term incentive compensation.

• Experience in supporting mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, integration planning, and execution of post-close compensation and benefits.

• Proficient in compensation analytics, reporting, and spreadsheet tools.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Advanced degree is preferred.

• Experience in professional services or consulting related to compensation, benefits, or broader total rewards transformation is advantageous.

• Familiarity with lean or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

• Experience in leading total rewards communications, executive presentations, or training for geographically dispersed audiences is beneficial.
