This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Manage the strategy, design, and implementation of compensation, benefits, equity, and workplace perks initiatives.
• Develop and oversee compensation frameworks, salary benchmarking, incentive schemes, and pay equity efforts.
• Leverage market data and analytics to guide compensation and benefits strategies.
• Assess market trends and gather employee feedback to propose and execute enhancements to rewards programs.
• Supervise healthcare, retirement, wellness, leave policies, and relationships with vendors.
• Lead the administration of equity and stock-based compensation programs, including grants, refresh cycles, and employee education.
• Collaborate with the Sr. Organizational Effectiveness Manager to design perks and recognition programs.
• Assist HR Business Partners with performance and compensation review cycles, promotion strategies, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to employment laws, tax regulations, and governance standards.
• Facilitate communication and change management pertaining to total rewards programs.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and executive leadership to attract, retain, and engage employees.
• Over 10 years of experience in leading total rewards strategy within technology startups, with extensive knowledge in compensation, benefits, equity, and employee perks; experience with both public and private companies is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in managing equity and stock-based compensation programs.
• Ability to proactively evaluate market trends and suggest innovative modifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the proficiency to convert data into actionable insights.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in utilizing and enhancing HR technology platforms, including HRIS, compensation planning, and people analytics tools.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools such as Claude is advantageous.
• Experience with Workday and Fidelity is a plus.
• Authorization to work in the USA is required.
