This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert and operational support for the Total Loss Settlement team.
β’ Offer daily assistance to team members and help manage their workloads.
β’ Collaborate with supervisors to maintain uniformity in customer service, quality, and compliance.
β’ Support team members with claim handling, negotiations, valuation inquiries, title prerequisites, and settlement challenges.
β’ Organize and prepare responses to inquiries and complaints from the Department of Insurance.
β’ Collect claim documentation and investigate claim handling processes.
β’ Ensure adherence to regulatory response timelines.
β’ Identify patterns from DOI complaints and suggest process improvements.
β’ Provide coverage during both planned and unplanned employee absences.
β’ Handle customer calls and respond to emails for absent employees.
β’ Complete urgent pending tasks and assist with follow-ups on claims.
β’ Engage in process improvement initiatives and propose workflow enhancements.
β’ Mentor new staff members during their onboarding process.
β’ Aid in the creation of job aids, training materials, and process documentation.
β’ Support cross-training efforts.
β’ Serve as a liaison between Total Loss Adjusters and leadership without having direct supervisory responsibilities.
β’ In-depth knowledge of Total Loss claims handling and settlement processes.
β’ Strong comprehension of state regulations, title requirements, and total loss procedures.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
β’ Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-paced environment.
β’ Demonstrated ability to mentor and assist peers without direct supervisory authority.
β’ Strong customer service and conflict resolution capabilities.
β’ Proficient in company claim systems and Microsoft Office applications.
β’ Clear understanding of insurance industry practices, standards, and terminology.
β’ Previous experience in writing automobile estimates and conducting total loss evaluations.
β’ Must successfully pass a background check.
