Title Curative Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Assess title searches and investigate title issues, resolving discrepancies according to established underwriting standards, bulletins, and guidelines.

• Identify solutions for resolving title issues and implement those solutions.

• Acquire releases for previous liens and examine divorce decrees, trusts, and corporate documents.

• Collaborate with state and regional underwriting counsel to address title curative issues.

• Request and monitor necessary documentation for clearance.

• Engage with lienholders or attorneys regarding HOA liens, municipal liens, and various property liens.

• Provide clients with estimated timelines for title curative resolutions and maintain tracking reports.

• Oversee the review, correction, and delivery of finalized documents to clients.

• Organize daily tasks to ensure adherence to client service level agreements (SLAs).

• Execute other responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A minimum of 5 years of curative experience within the title industry is required.

• Experience in commercial and purchase transactions is preferred.

• Capability to operate under general supervision.

• Skill in making sound risk decisions is essential.

• Experience with ResWare or similar title software is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate issues, ideas, and recommendations clearly in verbal, written, and presentation forms.

• Proficiency in multitasking and effectively managing priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational abilities.

• Capacity to work at high volume and perform under pressure with tight deadlines.

• Ability to cultivate and maintain robust relationships with business partners across all levels of stakeholders.
