Tier 2 Product Owner – Oracle SCM, Fleet Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the functional Product Owner for Oracle Fusion SCM and Fleet Management.

• Deliver Tier 2 support for intricate escalated issues.

• Diagnose functional problems, process gaps, configuration challenges, and exceptions.

• Prioritize incidents, defects, enhancements, and support requests effectively.

• Collaborate with IT, technical teams, Oracle support, and third-party vendors to address issues.

• Record issues, root causes, resolutions, and suggestions for process improvements.

• Facilitate knowledge transfer and transition processes to business ownership.

• Assist with order optimization, transportation execution, scheduling, and operational coordination.

• Collect requirements, identify gaps, and propose enhancements.

• Evaluate the effects of process, system, and configuration modifications.

• Aid in functional testing, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.

• Support fleet administration, planning, and dispatch operations.

• Oversee carrier execution, tendering, tracking, milestones, and transportation exceptions.

• Manage asset lifecycle, equipment, driver data, and associated processes.

• Oversee rate offerings, transportation costs, and settlements.

• Collaborate with transportation and logistics teams to enhance operations and visibility.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications and enhancements.

• Assist in prioritizing the product backlog and enhancement pipeline.

• Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancement.

• Support the roadmap for upcoming enhancements, integrations, and analytics.

• Communicate priorities, risks, dependencies, and updates to stakeholders.

• Pursue ongoing education opportunities, including training and certification examinations.

• Engage in internal projects and share expertise with colleagues.

• May aid in training technical personnel, conducting interviews, assigning project responsibilities, supervising workflow, and performing performance evaluations.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in supply chain, transportation, logistics, fleet management, or related systems.

• More than 3 years supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM and/or Oracle transportation or fleet functionalities.

• Proficient in functional support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.

• Extensive knowledge of supply chain and transportation processes.

• Experience collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

• Capability to translate business needs into functional solutions.

• Skilled in functional testing, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Comprehensive understanding of information technology procedures and practices.

• In-depth knowledge of Oracle principles and planning.

• Proficient with general and specialized applications, software, and hardware.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Willingness and capability to travel as necessitated by customer projects.

• Reliable and consistent internet connection.

• Full-time availability during Apex IT business hours and, when necessary, outside of business hours.
