This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Identify and concentrate on research related to threats and insider risks.
• Carry out threat hunting utilizing logs, telemetry, and behavioral indicators across endpoints.
• Create clear and defensible investigative reports.
• Assist the ELT in incident response and reduce the risk of critical intellectual property theft.
• Draft and document internal solutions that address emerging insider risks.
• Perform and document hands-on technical research concerning potential digital threats.
• Investigate and research threats and incidents associated with the Executive Leadership Team and CEO.
• Ensure digital protection for the Executive Leadership Team.
• Analyze intricate datasets across various systems.
• Collaborate with security, Legal, HR, and compliance teams to achieve risk-based outcomes.
• Function effectively in an agile, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 8-10 years of experience in identifying and prioritizing sensitive information, assessing threats, and implementing countermeasures.
• 8-10 years of experience in conducting digital threat investigations pertaining to insider threats.
• 8-10 years of experience in data triage and forensic analysis of endpoint devices.
• Profound technical expertise, strong investigative judgment, and discretion.
• Solid understanding of Cisco products and technologies (preferred).
• Expert-level proficiency in Splunk (preferred).
• Specific experience with Code42 and/or Microsoft Defender (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in Counterintelligence or within a US Federal Government organization (preferred).
• Familiarity with C/C++, Python, Verilog, and other source code languages (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders (preferred).
