Testing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Define and oversee the comprehensive testing strategy, approach, scope, and test plans for the banking project.

• Lead testing efforts across various phases, including SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Coordinate testing schedules, resources, dependencies, and deliverables to guarantee timely execution.

• Establish traceability of requirements to ensure that all business and functional requirements are fully addressed by test scenarios and results.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, development teams, project teams, and technology teams to ensure thorough test coverage.

• Manage the complete defect lifecycle, which includes defect identification, prioritization, tracking, escalation, and resolution.

• Prepare testing dashboards and management reports that highlight execution progress, defect trends, quality indicators, risks, and release readiness.

• Ensure that test cases, scenarios, scripts, and test data sufficiently cover both business and technical requirements.

• Coordinate performance, integration, and regression testing activities, ensuring that results meet established acceptance criteria.

• Support business users during UAT and facilitate effective communication between business and technical teams.

• Ensure that testing activities comply with banking quality, security, compliance, and regulatory standards.

• Drive ongoing improvements in testing processes, methodologies, tools, and quality practices.

• Ensure that testing milestones and project quality objectives are met within the agreed-upon timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in software testing, with substantial experience in test management.

• Experience in banking systems, financial services platforms, or digital transformation projects is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test management, and quality assurance practices.

• Practical experience managing SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Proficient in using test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM/Quality Center, or similar.

• Comprehensive understanding of test planning, execution, defect management, and testing governance.

• Experience in managing testing teams, resources, schedules, and project dependencies.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capable of functioning effectively in complex, large-scale, and highly regulated project environments.

• ISTQB or an equivalent testing certification is preferred.
