Senior Manager, Country Cluster Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Lead the performance of Clinical Trial Liaisons, including development planning, formal evaluations, goal setting, workload management, and ensuring quality delivery.

• Monitor vendor-provided personnel to ensure compliance with service-level agreements and address any performance issues.

• Execute standardized processes for feasibility assessment, site selection, recruitment, retention, and resolution of investigator-related issues.

• Provide advice to cross-functional forums regarding study, program, country, capacity, and resource strategies.

• Establish and nurture relationships with investigators.

• Conduct both remote and on-site co-visits.

• Assist with meetings, audits, and inspections.

• Report on monthly metrics, best practices, challenges, and escalations.

• Maintain a workload of 15% for Clinical Trial Liaison responsibilities.

• Promote a collaborative, high-performing cluster that aligns with regional standards and focuses on continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Eight years of relevant clinical operations experience within the industry or a contract research organization.

• Two to three years of direct accountability in people management.

• In-depth knowledge of global trial operations, field-team leadership, and clinical development.

• Familiarity with the International Council for Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice and regional/local regulations.

• Strong skills in scientific communication, organization, prioritization, and building investigator relationships.

• Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.

• Awareness of cross-cultural dynamics.

• Proficiency in business English.

• Additional language skills are advantageous.
