Test Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive support for test strategy and tools management for a government SAP web-based supply chain management system.

• Plan and conduct test events for monthly maintenance, quarterly enhancements, and special project initiatives.

• Manage Integration, Performance, UAT support, and Regression test events.

• Deliver multiple weekly status/progress updates verbally to USDA stakeholders.

• Maintain program Test Strategy documents and contractual release gate review deliverables, including input for TRR and PRR.

• Collaborate with Business Process Functional team members to comprehend end-to-end business process scenarios and the necessary test data.

• Supervise the Test Automation Team and the delivery of new or enhanced test automation capabilities.

• Administer Micro Focus ALM test cycles, test lab, and dashboard modules.

• Take ownership of the program Test Strategy document encompassing test execution, metrics reporting, test data management, and test automation capabilities.

• Assist in test status and strategy discussions with USDA regarding lifecycle gate reviews and weekly PMO/CCB status meetings.

• Coordinate across technical and functional teams to fulfill program test requirements.

• Lead demonstrations of new automation scenarios for USDA stakeholders.

• Oversee the scope of automation Regression Testing for monthly and special project releases.

• Manage requests for the creation of volume test data.

• Support OpenText ALM custom code and workflow modifications.

• Identify and evaluate new automation capabilities for WBSCM interfaces and reports.

• Ensure UFT software version compatibility with OpenText ALM SaaS upgrades.

• Assist BASIS in addressing security vulnerability remediation associated with UFT.

• Communicate with various customer organizations and provide updates on stakeholder status.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of relevant business experience.

• More than 8 years of experience in automated test development and execution.

• At least 5 years of experience using OpenText and SAP tools (ALM, UFT, TAO).

• Extensive practical experience in designing, developing, and executing automated testing scripts.

• A minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience.

• Facilitate proof-of-concept / proof-of-capability for the transition from UFT to Tricentis Tosca.

• Facilitate proof-of-concept / proof-of-capability for CoPilot AI solutions (or alternatives) to enhance test automation capabilities.

• Preferred SAP functional awareness in core modules (ECC, SRM, CRM, FI, SD/MM, Portals, BW).

• Educational background and/or experience in testing methodologies.

• Experience in cross-functional coordination.

• Preferred experience in Solution Manager/Automation/Performance Testing.
