Test Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive test strategy and tools management assistance for an SAP web-based supply chain management government system.

• Organize and implement test events for monthly maintenance, quarterly enhancements, and special project initiatives.

• Facilitate Integration, Performance, UAT, and Regression test events.

• Provide multiple verbal status/progress updates to stakeholders on a weekly basis.

• Maintain program Test Strategy documents and contractual release gate review deliverables, including inputs for TRR and PRR.

• Assist with test event schedules as part of the Release Management team.

• Collaborate with Business Process Functional team members to comprehend end-to-end business process scenarios and necessary test data.

• Supervise the Test Automation Team and ensure the delivery of new or improved test automation capabilities.

• Manage Micro Focus/OpenText ALM test cycles, test lab, and dashboard modules.

• Take ownership of the program Test Strategy document, covering test execution, metrics reporting, test data management, and planning for test automation capabilities.

• Support test status and strategy calls, lifecycle gate reviews, and weekly PMO/CCB status meetings.

• Coordinate among technical and functional teams to fulfill program test requirements.

• Oversee automation demonstrations with agency stakeholders.

• Manage the scope of automation regression testing for monthly and special project releases.

• Handle requests for volume test data creation.

• Support custom code/workflow changes in OpenText ALM.

• Identify and evaluate new automation capabilities.

• Manage UFT compatibility with OpenText ALM SaaS upgrades.

• Assist BASIS in remediating UFT-related security vulnerabilities.

• Communicate effectively with diverse customer organizations and provide status updates to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Lead proof-of-concept / proof-of-capability initiatives for the transition from UFT to Tricentis Tosca.

• Facilitate proof-of-concept / proof-of-capability initiatives for CoPilot AI solutions (or alternatives) to enhance test automation capabilities.

• Possess extensive, hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated testing scripts.

• Have 12+ years of relevant business experience.

• Accumulate 8+ years of experience in automated test development and execution.

• Demonstrate at least 5 years of experience utilizing OpenText and SAP tools (ALM, UFT, TAO).

• Hold a minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or possess equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience.

• Preferably have SAP functional awareness in core modules (ECC, SRM, CRM, FI, SD/MM, Portals, BW).

• Have educational or experiential background in testing methodologies.

• Exhibit experience in cross-functional coordination.

• Preferably possess experience with Solution Manager/Automation/Performance Testing.
