Test Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer comprehensive support for test strategy and tools management in an SAP web-based supply chain management government system.

• Organize and implement testing events for monthly maintenance, quarterly enhancements, and special project initiatives.

• Assist with Integration, Performance, UAT, and Regression testing events.

• Provide multiple verbal status updates and progress reports to stakeholders on a weekly basis.

• Maintain program Test Strategy documents and deliverables for contractual release gate reviews, including TRR and PRR input.

• Collaborate with Business Process Functional team members on end-to-end business process scenarios and test data.

• Supervise the Test Automation Team and the execution of the current automation capabilities.

• Manage Micro Focus/OpenText ALM test cycles, test lab, and dashboard modules.

• Take ownership of the program Test Strategy document, which encompasses test execution, metrics reporting, test data management, and automation capabilities.

• Assist with lifecycle gate review calls and weekly PMO/CCB status meetings.

• Coordinate with technical and functional teams to ensure program test requirements are met.

• Oversee automation demonstrations and the scope of regression testing.

• Manage requests for volume test data creation.

• Support customization of OpenText ALM code/workflows.

• Identify and evaluate new automation capabilities.

• Manage UFT compatibility with upgrades to OpenText ALM SaaS.

• Assist with BASIS security vulnerability remediation efforts concerning UFT.

• Engage with various customer organizations and provide updates to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Facilitate proof-of-concept/proof-of-capability for transitioning from UFT to Tricentis Tosca.

• Facilitate proof-of-concept/proof-of-capability for CoPilot AI solutions (or alternatives) to enhance test automation capabilities.

• Extensive hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated testing scripts.

• Over 12 years of relevant business experience.

• More than 8 years of experience in automated test development and execution.

• At least 5 years of experience with OpenText and SAP tools (ALM, UFT, TAO).

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience.

• Preferred SAP functional awareness in core modules (ECC, SRM, CRM, FI, SD/MM, Portals, BW).

• Education and/or experience in testing methodologies.

• Experience in cross-functional coordination.

• Preferred experience with Solution Manager, Automation, and Performance Testing.
