Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the IRS EDOS program.

• Aid in the modernization of IRS legacy tax processing systems.

• Facilitate full-stack solutions through collaborative team planning and ecosystem integration.

• Conduct ongoing security, API, and regression testing.

• Develop automation strategies and create automated scripts.

• Provide support for test data and environment configuration.

• Engage in code review activities.

• Track and report defects.

• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the end-to-end testing process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of overall experience.

• US Citizenship is mandatory.

• Must hold an active IRS MBI Clearance and possess a current GFE.

• Proven experience in test management, quality engineering strategy, planning, and test execution and management.

• Familiarity with Functional, Regression, Automation, 508, and API testing.

• Competence in using JIRA/Confluence, SQL, and Git.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills with client stakeholders across all organizational and technical tiers.

• Previous experience on Agile teams is preferred.
