This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites along with reusable test steps utilizing the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Create ATF coverage for new functionalities, configuration modifications, enhancements, and platform upgrades.
• Conduct automated regression testing prior to production releases and bi-annual ServiceNow platform upgrades.
• Integrate ATF testing within release management, CI/CD, and DevOps processes.
• Examine automated test failures, diagnose problems, and collaborate with developers to determine root causes and corrective measures.
• Manage test data, test environments, configuration baselines, and other dependencies essential for dependable automated testing.
• Convert user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria into automated ATF test scenarios.
• Work alongside developers, business analysts, release managers, and other stakeholders throughout the sprint lifecycle.
• Monitor and report on automated test coverage, pass/fail trends, defects, and metrics related to release readiness.
• Conduct additional manual testing when automation is not feasible or cost-efficient.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Over 8 years of experience in ServiceNow testing, software quality assurance, or a related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience in designing, building, maintaining, and executing ServiceNow ATF test suites.
• Ability to independently manage automated ServiceNow testing with minimal oversight.
• Proficient in creating logical and functional automated test scripts across various ServiceNow modules and use cases.
• Strong comprehension of testing methodologies, automation strategies, risks, and suitable testing techniques across diverse functional environments.
• Working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform architecture and core modules, including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, or similar modules.
• Experience in troubleshooting failed automated tests and isolating issues related to applications, configurations, environments, or test scripts.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication abilities.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• ServiceNow CSA certification is preferred, along with experience in Test Management 2.0, JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, ATF, CI/CD, and DevOps testing workflows.
• Experience in testing ServiceNow within federal environments, ideally supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or other large-scale federal programs.
