Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to our clients on testing methodologies and strategies within the realm of test automation, encompassing both traditional and agile approaches.

• Implement test automation using various technologies, including GUIs, web services, and interfaces.

• Design, execute, and continuously improve automated test frameworks.

• Plan and carry out automated unit, system, integration, UAT, and end-to-end (E2E) tests utilizing diverse tools.

• Track test progress and communicate test outcomes effectively.

• Collaborate closely within an international, cross-functional project team.

• Contribute to test automation initiatives for clients in sectors such as banking, insurance, automotive, medical technology, telecommunications, and the public sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications in IT, or a background from a career change.

• One to two years of professional experience, or experience in test automation acquired through student employment or an internship.

• Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, HP UFT, Appium, Cucumber, Cypress, JUnit, or SoapUI.

• Experience with software development environments and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, Git, or Maven.

• Basic programming experience, for instance in Java, Python, C#, or Perl.

• ISTQB© certification is a plus.

• Proficient in both German and English.
