Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement automation code to facilitate monthly release Regression Test activities.

• Generate test data that accurately reflects end-user interactions with the system.

• Collaborate with members of the Business Process Functional team to comprehend end-to-end business process scenarios.

• Work alongside both technical and functional teams to ensure that program test requirements are fulfilled.

• Improve automation capabilities in response to production enhancements.

• Create new automation scenarios as prioritized by USDA.

• Present demonstrations of newly developed automation scenarios to USDA agency stakeholders.

• Conduct automation regression testing for both monthly and special project releases.

• Produce volume test data for testing events.

• Provide support for OpenText ALM custom code and workflow modifications.

• Evaluate and identify automation capabilities for WBSCM interfaces and reports.

• Oversee UFT compatibility with OpenText ALM SaaS upgrades.

• Assist in addressing security vulnerabilities related to UFT.

• Effectively communicate status updates to various customer organizations and stakeholders.

• Deliver proof-of-concept/proof-of-capability for transitioning from UFT to Tricentis Tosca.

• Provide proof-of-concept/proof-of-capability for a CoPilot AI solution or another alternative to improve test automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant, hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated testing scripts.

• Over 10 years of pertinent business experience.

• A minimum of 7 years dedicated to automated test development and execution.

• At least 2 years of experience with OpenText and SAP tools (ALM, UFT, TAO).

• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience.

• Preferred SAP functional experience in core modules (ECC, SRM, CRM, FI, SD/MM, Portals, BW).

• Education and/or experience in testing methodologies.

• Experience in cross-functional coordination.

• Preferred experience with Solution Manager, Automation, or Performance Testing.
