This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate with development, business analysis, and project management teams to gather requirements and establish testing strategies.
• Design, document, and maintain test cases and scenarios for Salesforce functionality, customizations, and integrations.
• Execute manual testing and document any defects encountered.
• Create and sustain automated test scripts utilizing industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure software stability.
• Assess application performance and scalability, providing recommendations for optimizations.
• Organize and facilitate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders.
• Monitor, manage, and report on defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies for better efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch Salesforce solutions.
• Maintain thorough documentation of test plans, cases, results, and defects.
• Identify potential implementation risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and assist junior testers and team members in their development.
• Establish and manage test environments, Salesforce sandboxes, and ensure data integrity.
• Produce test execution status reports that include metrics, test coverage, and defect trends.
• Report directly to the Sr. Director of Quality Assurance.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, including at least 2 years specifically focused on Salesforce QA testing.
• Expertise in testing Salesforce applications, encompassing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom solutions.
• Strong grasp of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Capability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Familiarity with defect tracking systems like Jira or Bugzilla.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Preferred certifications include Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, or Salesforce Platform App Builder.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and involvement in Agile development teams is preferred.
• Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components is preferred.
• Knowledge of Salesforce integration tools and techniques, such as REST/SOAP APIs and middleware solutions, is preferred.
