This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Contribute to the comprehensive architecture, definition, development, and deployment of software applications and infrastructure for various customers and manufacturing regions.
• Design and develop testing systems and procedures for hardware validation during the manufacturing process.
• Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts for devices including motherboards, memory, CPUs, storage, and PCIe.
• Develop, validate, release, and maintain test software and scripts that automate the testing process.
• Operate test equipment, gather and analyze data, and produce test reports.
• Support and maintain testing software and infrastructure for manufacturing servers (L10) and racks (L11-L12).
• Implement minor configuration changes for new product variants or updates.
• Maintain documentation for manufacturing server and rack test procedures, specifications, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, and end customers.
• Ensure that software deliverables comply with Jabil manufacturing quality standards.
• A BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may also be considered.
• 5-8 years of experience in a software role related to manufacturing test development or sustaining for enterprise server, storage, or networking products is required.
• Experience with server hardware interaction, validation, and configuration is necessary.
• Proficiency in 2-3 core skills such as programming/scripting, Linux development, hardware/API solutions, virtual machines, networking systems, or code versioning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Strong understanding of professional software engineering practices throughout the entire software development life cycle.
• Experience in multi-site and multi-cultural environments is essential.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
• Preferred: A Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Preferred: Over 10 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.
• Preferred: Experience with test architecture design and methodology.
• Preferred: Experience with hyperscale customers and environments.
• Preferred: Expertise in 5 or more core skills.
