Test Analyst, NV1 Clearance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Conduct both manual and automated testing activities to support AMSA's digital transformation efforts.

• Test applications within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, which includes Power Pages, Power Apps, and Dataverse-based solutions, along with their related business processes.

• Rapidly grasp new business processes, applications, and technologies.

• Oversee testing activities across multiple simultaneous projects while handling competing priorities.

• Design, develop, execute, and sustain automated regression tests spanning UI and API/integration layers.

• Ensure automated tests are integrated into AMSA's CI/CD delivery pipelines instead of running solely on demand.

• Execute manual testing tasks.

• Operate autonomously with minimal oversight and contribute to a high-performing testing team.

• Assist in delivering high-quality, dependable, and user-friendly business solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Applicants must submit a one-page pitch that addresses all specified criteria, restricted to 5000 characters.

• Proven experience in testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform applications, including Power Pages, Power Apps, and Dataverse, along with their associated business processes.

• Capability to analyze requirements, design test scenarios, execute tests, manage defects, and support end-to-end business process validation.

• Experience in conducting UI, functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing for web-based and enterprise applications.

• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and industry best practices.

• Significant experience with test automation and contemporary testing tools.

• Experience in designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated UI regression test suites using Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro, or similar frameworks.

• Experience in automating API/integration testing with Postman/Newman, REST Assured, or Playwright API testing functionalities.

• Experience in integrating automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficiency with Visual Studio Code, Azure DevOps, source control, defect management, and test management and reporting practices.

• Understanding of SDLC principles and Agile delivery methodologies.

• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary project teams.

• Flexibility and adaptability to transition between projects, technologies, testing phases, teams, and business domains.

• ISTQB Automation Certification or a similar certification is desirable.

• Extensive experience in testing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, and Power BI solutions is desirable.

• Experience with Jira or similar tools for test and defect management in conjunction with Azure DevOps is desirable.
