Quality Assurance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and implement thorough manual test cases for routine software releases.

• Conduct end-to-end testing of clinic workflows, encompassing scheduling, patient management, billing, charting, reporting, and other essential EMR functionalities.

• Collaborate with Product, Development, and other stakeholders to grasp requirements, pinpoint potential issues, and enhance release quality.

• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and release validation testing prior to production deployments.

• Identify, document, and effectively communicate defects, including steps to reproduce and expected versus actual outcomes.

• Validate bug fixes and carry out regression testing to ensure that changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.

• Assess releases for functionality, usability, reliability, and the overall user experience.

• Assist in post-release validation and investigation of production issues as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a similar role.

• Strong grasp of QA methodologies, test planning, and bug tracking processes.

• Experience in testing web and/or mobile applications across various devices and browsers.

• Ability to document, reproduce, and communicate issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Exceptional attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving approach.

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Linear, Postman, GitHub, or similar platforms is a plus.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks is advantageous.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
