QA Engineer – Fin DB

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of financial data and payment-related systems

• Develop and maintain automated tests utilizing Playwright with TypeScript

• Design and execute test cases for the implementation of new features

• Conduct API and backend testing to verify system functionality and data integrity

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing across FinDB systems

• Execute manual testing when necessary

• Prepare test scenarios, cases, data, and coverage according to product requirements

• Analyze logs and system processes to identify issues and determine root causes

• Identify, document, and track defects with detailed evidence and reproducible steps

• Engage in refinement sessions to provide QA input early in the development cycle

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to enhance quality and delivery

• Contribute to the enhancement of test automation, coverage, and QA practices

• Report to the Team Lead

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in QA Automation

• Strong practical experience with Playwright, TypeScript, Python, and PyTest

• Proficient in API and backend testing

• Solid experience in functional and integration testing

• Capable of designing and structuring clear, maintainable test cases

• Strong debugging skills, including the ability to work with logs and system behavior

• Good understanding of data validation and system functionality

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly

• Comfortable taking initiative and thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments

• Nice to have: experience in payments, fintech, e-commerce, or financial platforms

• Nice to have: familiarity with acquiring, settlement, payouts, or transaction-based systems

• Nice to have: understanding of transaction flows, reconciliation, or financial data

• Nice to have: experience with Selenium

• Nice to have: knowledge of distributed systems or microservices architectures

• Nice to have: exposure to cloud-based environments

• Nice to have: familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git
