Test Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement testing strategies for intricate software functionalities, integrations, and releases.

• Create and sustain automated testing suites that encompass functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end processes.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams to establish acceptance criteria, proactively identify risks, and assure that features are both testable and ready for production.

• Validate processes involving geospatial data, 2D/3D visualization, APIs, data processing, and resolutions related to AI or Computer Vision.

• Reproduce and analyze complex defects utilizing logs, APIs, and various diagnostic tools.

• Assist in release planning, regression testing, and validation in production environments.

• Continuously enhance QA practices, tools, and coverage.

• Become a part of RPMGlobal's development team to guarantee the quality, reliability, and performance of software utilized in complex mining and industrial settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software quality assurance and testing for production applications.

• Proficient in designing and executing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks for web, API, or mobile applications such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.

• Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or Typescript for test automation and tooling.

• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and using platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.

• Skilled in validating backend services, APIs, and data-intensive processing workflows.

• Experience with Docker, cloud environments, and testing applications deployed across cloud, on-premise, or edge systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail and a high level of accountability for product quality.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

• Legally authorized to work in Mexico.

• Experience testing geospatial applications, point clouds, 3D models, maps, or spatial data workflows.

• Knowledge in validating Computer Vision, machine learning, or AI-based features, including datasets, expected outputs, and accuracy metrics.

• Familiarity with drones, aerial data capture workflows, sensors, or other connected field devices.

• Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools and agents as part of quality assurance, test automation, or software development processes.

• Background in mining, construction, autonomous systems, robotics, or other industrial sectors.
