Salesforce Quality Assurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement comprehensive testing plans, cases, and scripts for Salesforce functionalities, configurations, and customizations.

• Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and administrators to gather requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.

• Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing for Salesforce applications.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects utilizing a defect tracking system.

• Partner with technical teams to guarantee timely resolution of defects.

• Generate and manage test data and testing environments.

• Create and uphold automated testing scripts and tools.

• Engage in release management, which includes reviewing deployment plans and providing insights for release readiness.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synchronize testing with end-to-end business workflows.

• Continuously enhance QA processes and methodologies.

• Stay informed about Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends, and evaluate their impact on testing.

• Offer feedback and suggestions on user experience, system performance, and quality enhancements.

• Undertake additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• US citizenship is a requirement.

• Salesforce certification is required; Salesforce Administrator certification is preferred.

• Minimum of four (4) years of general work experience is necessary.

• Experience in testing enterprise software solutions is required.

• At least three (3) years of experience in troubleshooting software.

• Experience with Salesforce and Agile development methodologies is essential.

• Preferred experience in the public sector or multiple Salesforce project implementations.

• Proven experience in coordinating and executing testing events.

• Proficient in creating test reports.

• Background in testing IT hardware, software, systems, and networks.

• Strong technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform and its applications.

• Understanding of Salesforce functionalities, configurations, and data models.

• Experience in test planning, test case development, and execution specific to Salesforce projects.

• Proficiency with QA tools and methodologies, including test management tools, defect tracking systems, and test automation frameworks.

• Familiarity with Selenium, Katalon Studio, Salesforce DX, or Apex Test Classes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Attention to detail and the capability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Government Public Trust Clearance.

• Must successfully pass pre-employment qualifications set by Cherokee Federal.
