This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets within the designated territory.
• Recognize and address customer requirements, aligning suitable resources and pull-through initiatives.
• Attain comprehensive product and disease-state knowledge for effective engagement with healthcare professionals.
• Market Phathom’s products to Gastroenterologists, Advanced Practice Practitioners, and select Primary Care Physicians.
• Propel sales performance to achieve or exceed set sales objectives.
• Convey clinically relevant messages, present new treatment alternatives, and address customer concerns.
• Develop an understanding of the territory's market dynamics and access opportunities.
• Formulate territory business plans in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager and Strategic Account Specialists.
• Work in conjunction with peers, marketing, training, sales operations, and commercial teams.
• Utilize CRM systems and fulfill expense reporting duties.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university.
• A minimum of two years of successful experience in medical sales (e.g., dental, medical device, laboratory, diagnostics) or one year in pharmaceutical sales; GI Specialty experience is preferred.
• A proven and consistent history of achieving sales performance goals.
• Experience in launching new products.
• Demonstrated success in utilizing all resources (marketing, market access pull-through, and technology solutions).
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
• Ability to cultivate professional relationships with office staff and other members of the customer network.
• Proven success in both in-person and virtual interactions.
• Capacity to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Proficient technical skills and computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and digital meeting platforms such as Veeva Engage, Teams, and Zoom.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Possible overnight travel within the territory depending on geography.
• Travel to national, regional, and corporate offices may be necessary.
