This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets within the designated region while adhering to company and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify and understand customer requirements, aligning suitable resources and activities to meet those needs.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of products and relevant disease states to effectively engage with healthcare professionals.
• Promote the company’s initial product to Gastroenterologists, Advanced Practice Practitioners, and selected Primary Care Physicians.
• Drive sales outcomes to achieve or exceed established sales objectives.
• Engage with Gastroenterologists, Primary Care Physicians, APPs, and office personnel using clinically relevant messaging.
• Gain insights into territory market dynamics and opportunities for market access.
• Enhance pull-through by effectively communicating with healthcare professionals and office personnel.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and Strategic Account Specialists to develop territory business plans.
• Work in partnership with colleagues in marketing, training, sales operations, and other commercial teams.
• Fulfill administrative duties, including the use of CRM systems and expense reporting.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of successful experience in medical sales (e.g., dental, medical devices, laboratory diagnostics) or one year of pharmaceutical sales experience; GI Specialty experience is preferred.
• A proven and consistent history of success in sales performance.
• Experience in launching new products.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage all available resources (marketing, market access, and technology solutions) for success.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
• Ability to build professional relationships with office staff and others in the customer network.
• Proven success in both in-person and virtual interactions.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as digital meeting platforms such as Veeva Engage, Teams, and Zoom.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Some overnight travel within the territory may be necessary based on geography.
• Travel to national, regional, and corporate offices may be required.
