This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets within the designated area while adhering to company and regulatory guidelines.
• Recognize and address customer needs by coordinating suitable resources and facilitating pull-through activities.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of products and disease states to effectively engage with healthcare professionals.
• Promote the company’s inaugural product to Gastroenterologists, Advanced Practice Practitioners, and select Primary Care Physicians.
• Drive sales performance to consistently meet or exceed established sales objectives.
• Convey clinically relevant messages introducing a new treatment option while addressing customer concerns.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of territory market dynamics and opportunities for market access.
• Effectively communicate with healthcare professionals and office staff to expedite pull-through processes.
• Formulate territory business plans in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager and Strategic Account Specialists.
• Partner with colleagues in marketing, training, sales operations, and the commercial team.
• Fulfill administrative duties, including CRM utilization and expense reporting.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of successful medical sales experience (e.g., dental, medical devices, laboratory, diagnostics), or one year of pharmaceutical sales experience; GI specialty experience is preferred.
• A proven and consistent record of success in sales performance.
• Experience in launching new products.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage all available resources (marketing, market access pull-through, and technology solutions) for success.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
• Ability to cultivate professional relationships with office staff and others within the customer network.
• Proven success in both in-person and virtual interactions.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Proficient technical skills and computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as digital meeting platforms such as Veeva Engage, Teams, and Zoom.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Some overnight travel within the territory may be necessary depending on the geographic area.
• Travel to national, regional, and corporate offices may also be required.
